Default Rogers drumset year Identification

Hello,

I have a blue sparkle Rogers drumset. I'd like help identifying the year of the drums. They are as follows:
12", 16", 20" Holiday drums in Blue Sparkle finish (dull not shiny)
14" blue sparkle Power tone snare drum

They have swiv-o-matic tom mount and ride mount.

The only thing i've noticed that is a bit different on this drum set is that the floor tom leg mounts have hand tighten wing nuts - they does not require a drum key to tighten the floor tom legs.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm getting ready to see this drum set.

Thanks,
brian

Need more info in able to help you. Any interior badges? "Eagle" shell badge or chrome "Rogers" shell badge? Replacement wing nuts for sure. Thought of doing this myself at times.

Kinda like asking to identify a Chevy only by the color. Can't help much with what you provided so far.

pics would help.Bread and butter lugs or beavertail?

As far as the FT mounts,Rogers had a pre swivo floor tom mount/bracket called the Sta tite that used wing nuts, I have them on my flat grey int paint dayton 14 FT,you can see one of them on the Floor tom to the left of the drum,The only catalogue pic of them I have seen is a fuzzy scan of the 1954 or 1955 cat in the Rogers book.

I have seen them in pics of swivo era kits, some people think that they were special orders because some people did not like the idea of having to set up and adjust the swivo mounts with a drum key,I think that is possible in some cases, but most of the sta tites I have seen have been on late cleveland and transition cleveland/dayton and early dayton kits which leads me to believe they were trying to use up old parts after the CBS buyout.I suppose both theories could be true.

Here we have another one-time poster. It's already been 2 days and he hasn't checked back. Sorry to appear so negative, but this is becoming more commonplace on our forum. I certain hope he proves me wrong and gets back to us with more information.
