Yes, the guy who owns the company, Jim Laabs, has a music store in Wisconsin and farms out production to Asia somewhere. You're never going to find American-made drums at that price point! At least on the low end Trixon sets. The Vox set we're all discussing may be made elsewhere, hence the higher price.
