Zilco by AZCO 20 inch Ride - 2452grams

Loading...

Selling a Zilco by AZCO Ride cymbal - nice and warm and dark - great classy character. No significant keyholing (IMHO), No Cracks, No Dents, No invisible plastic plugs for holes, no invisible peanut butter and jelly smear marks, no invisible globs of leaked glue, no invisible visibles :) (I had fun with that one!)

I will be uploading a video tonight - will likely take all night. It does a real nice job of showing the cymbal. Just FYI - until then (as I took no pics) This cymbal has a nice layer of patina on it and an A1 Vintage classy sound to it. Quite a warm and dark roar behind the classy "teeeeeee" of my 5A Regal Tip Nylon tipped stick. I tried to jazz up the demo as much as I can, but am not the best jazz player.....enjoy as much as you can though! I am playing along with some Paistes - not the best partners for this cymbal - but at least it showed the contrast of tone. I would normally play this with some B20s that I have.

Asking $110 plus shipping from 49285. PP Only please.

$10 handling fee for International, but done it many times before.

This will be posted on DFO too.....

Bell is on he small side - see the up close shots. I used to have a Zildjian A with this weight - and regret selling it. This one is not far from that sound, but is a bit drier. If it was not so dry, I would consider keeping it. Meanwhile, some of you like drier rides - right up your alley.

Thanks,

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Just read that this cymbal "Zilco - by Azco - Canada" were made from 68-70. Be sure to watch the video - it gives a very good idea of sound - very dry. Yes, much wash roaring back there, but it is a drier warmer roar, with the ping nice and classy (bright) on top / front. I hope that makes sense - hard to put cymbal sound into words - the video is very helpful in that you get to hear it yourself.
