This beautiful Black Pearl Premier kit, made in England, was purchased by my Dad in 1963. It was played gently to Ahmad Jamal records in his home and never taken out on a gig. In very fine condition. Otherwise, it's perfect; no rust or discoloration. Includes all original hardware and a full set of 50-year old USA-made Zildjian cymbals, bonus Premier cowbell + woodblock and the original cloth drum cases. The Band

Snare 14" x 6.5"

Tom 12" x 9"

Floor Tom 16"x 19"

That is a beautiful set of drums & brass and at a fair price. Best of luck with your sale, hope you find a good home for them.

Note: Considering that those are 'your dad's drums,' wouldn't you prefer to keep them in the family and maybe play them yourself? Just asking...

John

Too many great drums to list here!

What is the white looking gadget that appears to run through the center of the snare drum along the same plane as the snare wires? Optical delusion?

Very cool and clean looking kit!

The "Flowbeam" is an aluminum bar that is part of the snare tensioner/release mechanism. A high quality system.

As for keeping the kit, Dad's long past away and none of the children became percussionists. Time to find a new home for this beautiful kit with someone who will play it and enjoy it as much as we have for 50 years!

Note the cymbals are all marked "AVEDIS"

Little Sat bump for ya. This is a beautiful kit~! Like a time capsule. If I had the extra cash they'd be here already. Ahmad Jamal wow that clicked a switch in my head. Great stuff there I had forgot all about. This tune has been stuck in my head.
