Hello, folks. First-time poster. I'm not a drum person (more of a sax guy)...

I've been buying some used drum equipment for my nephew, who is just beginning to learn the drums.

I found some Darwin drums - base, floor tom, rack tom - but they have hardware that doesn't look like any other hardware I've seen, even on other Darwin drums (just looking online). Hopefully the jpeg comes thru okay.

Does anyone know if these lugs/rods are something special/odball...etc.? Is this marching drum hardware? The floor tom is the same way.

Also, I would love to find a second rack tom for this, if anyone knows a source (probably a longshot:)
