Default Re: Anyone else get disheartened at all the greed in the vintage drum market?

The only sure thing in life is CHANGE. Yes, the market has evolved, and yes prices have changed. Yes, there is lots of stupid prices being asked, but overall I feel the market is good! We’re talking about it, right? This has evolved from the 70’s to now. Look what is available! You can get a Oyster Blue Downbeat if you look deep enough. Going to pay for it, but hey, if that’s what you want? Go for it!
You’ll never get rid of the guitar player who finds a Gretsch 14x14 and asks $1500 firm for it! I mean c’mon! They play guitar!
