Fantastic! And they are still very, very, burgundy! What's wrapped around the center post of the tom holder?

Re: 1932-34 SLINGERLAND 6.5 x 14 ROSE PEARL DuALL (AN AMAZING RESTORATION) LL

What a magnificent restoration! Those first 4 pictures really show how bad it was! I am simply amazed at the restoration skills that a select number of craftsmen possess! Bowing

Re: Ludwig 1976 Red-Silver-Blue kit on eBay

Hi Zach!

I messaged TommyP about tompeter and that all his posts were linked to items on eBay. He made the call that this member needed to go and all posts were removed.

Re: MIJ Fans

Yes, I believe they are Majestic. I've got quite a few pictures of Majestic kits that have sold on eBay over the years. Pretty much all of them have the offset lugs! Here's one kit that is...

Re: Let's see your drum room!!

Josh! Wow, what a difference in the before/after shots of the Slingerland drum. Those 12x15 tenor drums make excellent floor tom conversions. I did the same with a Rogers marching tenor!

I had a...

Re: Age

Completely agree!

As to my statement of 20 years being vintage, I got that from a question that was asked in Modern Drummer many years ago. But, that meant that the drums in question were from the...

Re: Let's see your drum room!!

Re: MIJ Fans

I agree! For $150, it's a cool find! Those offset lugs and the tom sizes are the real prize here! Good luck!

Re: MIJ Fans

OK, I'm going to throw in my :2Cents: on this one...

I really like 60's MIJ kits, branded or not! Most unbranded kits were usually sold through retail stores, such as Sears and Montgomery Ward....

As others have pointed out, it's tough to tell exactly what you're getting. And, yes, I truly believe that "condition is everything"! Are you able to see these up close and personal! Can you get more...

Re: Let's see your drum room!!

Honestly, I can't take all the credit for my drum room! It's my girlfriend who not only sets the bar high, but who's ideas ended up costing me quite a bit to make it this way! OK, guess I should...
