Re: Rogers Celebrity - 45 Years Ago!

Great photos Mark, thanks for sharing! The Roy Burns story is a great one. So cool you were able to get him to sign the photo for you years later.

Re: Rogers Red Sparkle 20, 12, 14

Awesome kit Dan, someone sure got a beauty in the best sizes to boot! I agree about the hassle of shipping kits. I've shipped right about 10 kits and that's about 9 too many! The last kit I shipped...

Re: MIJ Lug I.D.

This is exactly correct Mark as that's how this lug came into my possession, on a Rogers Powertone. I replaced it with a proper beavertail lug a while back.

I've been sorting through a bunch of...

Thanks guys. I think neorich is correct. It appears to be Tama. It is stamped "Japan CS 1" inside. Found a pic of this 80s Royalstar snare on Reverb. Looks like the exact lug. Thanks for the tip!

MIJ Lug I.D.

Does anyone know what this MIJ lug is? Not sure if it is vintage or off brand generic. I don't need it and would like to get it to someone who does.

Thanks

Re: 1938-40 SLINGERLAND 7 x 14 BDP GENE KRUPA MODEL RADIO KING

Beautiful drum Mike. I'd expect nothing else from you (and Mark, of course). Question, does this drum have the heavy, thick walled lug casings? These seem to be in really nice shape. I have the exact...

Re: Slingerland Streamline Lug for Share (1x)

Saw those, thanks. Do they look chrome plated to you? I'm hoping to find nickel plated one. In fact the nastier the better. My other 7 are rough.

Re: Sorry, Rant!

A lack of response to a simple inquiry could also be a warning sign as to how timely the restoration work will be done.

Re: 1967/68 Fibes COF Buddy Rich

We should all be so fortunate to have such a great shot of us "in action". Great photo! Almost like a conductor leading a symphony. But the drums steal the show! 😀

Re: 1930's Marcher Set

This is so cool! I want to piece something together just like this. I picked up an old 26" Ludwig Universal bass drum to get started. I'd love to gig a kit like this some time.
