Hoops came up nice..

Maybe try some kitten car wax on a very soft and "eternally clean" damp cloth.. just follow instructions off the bottle... If that's no go,,, then Novus should do some good...

RCA plugs were originally designed to connect modular turntables to integrated amps.. Via shielded Coaxial Cable.... Shielded audio cable is not recommended for speaker connection.

RCA jacks are not used for speaker outputs .. If you wish to drive more additional speakers you need consider the impedance of the speakers or you may blow up the amp. However ...If you only want to...

Only issue I had (& still have) is with an 8" Niles Concert Tom from the early 80's... Remo or Aquarian heads will seat nicely on the shell but the stick saver hoop will not seat over the aluminium...

I also should be history by now... lived in lead painted homes and then lead painted everything that I ever built as a child... Worked 8 hour shifts...

Well as a wood working hobbyist... I don't like Fumes from stripper.. I don't like burned timber from heat guns... and I don't like timber grain ruined by gouging from scrapers etc... so I still...

With lead based paint like that.. I would avoid using spirits or stripper... Use sandpaper instead.. it is not a huge job... just work outdoors and use a mask if necessary.. start with 180 go to 400...

It will work fine but that hex nut needs to be only little more than finger tight.

I used a hex nut on my Dyna-sonic for around 10 years.
Only on the one lug though (where my left hand stick...
