Re: John Riley Plays His Old Ks

That left side 20" is the bomb. That 22" though......well let's just say that I saw that one at the drum show. I might have ridden on it for about 15 seconds and then just walked away from it.

Re: What to use to try to reduce scratches on a vintage cymbal?

Whew!
It's such a relief to hear that! And the serenity I got just from hearing that....Now I'm assured that I'll be able sleep peacefully tonight.

Re: Now THIS guy has some gorgeous K's!

I don't care if he "makes" then sound good. If every cymbal he plays sounds bone dry with stick definition out the wazoo, then it's not "real". As certainly was the case with that 22" K. which was...

Re: Now THIS guy has some gorgeous K's!

He had some by not really that many. There's collectors out there that make what he had look like small time.

Also that 22" wasn't that great. This guys records his cymbal's with over head mikes...

Re: Face book alert

O.K. I'm with you on that. But I'd like to ask just one more question. And this might even be one direct from the Common Core curriculum.

Do 2 micro-aggressions = 1 macro-aggression?

Re: Face book alert

Why don't you take a break for a while in your little safe room. Crayons and play-dough can work wonders for your kind. And don't forget your comfort blankie.

Zildjian A "Hollow Block Stamp" (50s) 22"

Most of from this era typically weigh around 2750 -2850- gms. But this one is a paper thin weighing in at only 2198 gms., so that makes this one more interesting.

Re: Old stamp K. eye candy
