MIJ kit on Ebay

Saw this kit when browsing ebay today. Not too bad of a price considering how much shipping is....just thought I would pass it along if anyone is looking for a MIJ kit to fix up. ...

Re: Poor economy for drummers, or something else?

I'm not an expert on drum prices, so I can't comment on your asking price...but the shipping is going to turn alot of people off. My advice would be to pack the drums more compact (less boxes)...rack...

Re: Change lugs or leave them

Reason going with the marching lugs is that I have the possibility of getting some of these lugs at an unbeatable price. Not wanting to sink in a whole lot of money into it. And, I think they have...

Change lugs or leave them

Some of you are familiar with the marching drum kit I just completed. Now I am thinking about putting Ludwig marching lugs on it so they can all closer match the bass drum. Should I change them out...

Re: Wow these Ludwig toms 1960s

Great find...can't beat the price! Not saying you should, but worse case scenario, you could part them out and make some money. Custom projects are more fun though :)

Any info on this Slingerland marching snare?

I just bought this off of ebay. Any info on it would be appreciated....general time frame of when it was made etc. I do know it's a 15x12. I'm thinking late 50's by the bad...but I'm no expert.

Re: Revere Marching Snare

I'm pretty sure has always been a snare because there were no extra holes in the shell. The snare beds on some of these old marching snares were really deep...the calf skin heads contoured to the...

Re: Revere Marching Snare

Some before and after pics! The shell doesn't have reinforcement rings and is super thin. The hoops are warped but I think they will work. Sounds pretty good even though the snare beds are cut really...

Revere Marching Snare

I bought another vintage marching snare on ebay :) This one is a Revere (listing says 13.5" x 11"), so I'm assuming it is a 13x9 shell. Will probably get it later this week. I know E.W. Kent made...
