There was one that sold a few months ago. It went for a little over a grand if I am remembering correctly. Actually, I think I remember two of these selling on Ebay within the past year or so.

Vintage MIJ Snare Drum Star Pre Tama (?)

I believe this is a Star brand drum based on the lugs but I am not certain. I also believe it is chrome over steel. Weighs in at around 8 LBS. There is a seam visible on the interior of the shell....

Definitely a brass shell based on the photos. Ludwig did indeed make COB supers with baseball bat mufflers during the transition.

Looks like a Pearl mount or some other MIJ/T type. I would agree the bass drum hoops are likely not original.
