Re: red drums in the attic.......

For the past several months, and maybe even a couple of years or so, I've seen the decline in the sale of vintage drums gain momentum. The reason for this is because those around my part of Canada,...

Re: Sonor Hilite Black Diamond Drum Set Price

Beautiful drums.. Sonor's quality and engineering is second to none. My favorite drum company. Those drums no doubt sound like a nuclear bomb and the fact that it's a rare maple shell even makes it...

Re: Ludwig Atlas tom mount and vintage 3 ply Sligerland shells

If your referring to the new atlas mount, then I've had it on my 6 ply big beat 13" tom and also had it on my bass drum to mount my 20" ride cymbal and it was absolutely solid, looked sleek, and...

Re: This is the Display Your Sonor Drums Thread

I know i may ruffle some feathers here on this forum, but as far as i'm concerned, Sonor drums are the finest drums ever made, both vintage and modern. You can't beat German engineering and...

Re: We lost another icon. . . RIP DJ Fontana

I had stumbled across this just last week. Great interview done in a few series
with different tunes. Great guy and a solid, creative drummer. He literally was THE first
rock drummer on tv !...

Re: Cruise

Hi Jaghog-
I'm not sure if your question was for me, but if so, then the
answer is no. Just the 4 musicians this time around. If it works out
well and we get more gigs, then keyboardist will be...

Re: Cruise

Hi Jeff ,

Thanks ! It should be a great time ! Although i gotta get used to
a click for back tracks. The cruise only wanted 4 musicians instead of 5, so keyboardist is out.
Anyway, he's got...

Yes ! Plenty of Wings and Beatles, and some newer solo
McCartney stuff. Although the set is pretty slick, clocking in
at 45-50 minutes, so the vocalist had to choose the biggest ones....

Re: So much for the ludwig p-88

Yeah, it is a bummer. You'd think Ludwig would even at least make a diecast version of the original P-32 with drum key bolts, but no, not even that. Ludwig's engineering department needs an overhaul....

Re: Old Man Rant: Something I hope never happens to drums.

BEC-- C&C drum company already makes a "weathered" finish called "Crackled", resembling 50 year old lead paint that has "crackled" over the years. Looks cool, but no way in hell am i going to drop...

Re: What's wrong with this CL ad? :)

That's a really good deal. Like Mo Tonkie pointed out, the snare alone is worth
about $500. The finish is also popular and a favorite among most Ludwig collectors.

Re: So much for the ludwig p-88

K.O - I believe it may be the case. Dave from Dave's Drum Shop mentioned in his email that he's supposed to receive more stock, but i don't know if that means a newer version or that if he's out of...
