Is there enough adjustment/play in the support rings so that they will still fit the toms without being too tight with the added inner dimension of the felt? I think its a great idea.

There is a remo 11" on ebay right now. Seller has two at 17 bucks each plus shipping. There is also an 11" calf head on ebay for lighter side of 50 bucks.

just for reference, there is a neat 40's w&a floor tom on ebay right now. it has a nice cradle with it as well. might be worth viewing to see another one.

it is a 20. in fact,one of my hoops is terrible. I did a trade with a guy and got the rough end of the deal! let me catch you after Christmas (finances) if I can. thanks either way.
