Re: Old factory Paiste Pictures

Thanks Joe!
Poking around the Paiste site a bit, I found a photo similar to the 50s factory photo in the collection you posted - perhaps 10 years newer. Images are quite large so I've just posted...

Thanks for starting this thread. :) I'd love it if those in the know could associate dates with the various generations.

I've been lucky buying some old gear but never NOS. Since I don't have a story myself, I'll proxy this one:

Re: Vintage Cymbal Stand Innovation...

No. The stand came with a nice WMP Rogers Celebrity kit I bought from its original owner a few years ago. The whole kit shines like new.

Re: '66 Ludwig Club Date Bop Kit Value?

I'm kicking myself for not measuring when I was visiting yesterday. Could my eyes be playing tricks on me? Maybe black makes everything look smaller...

The owner of the drums is laid up with a...

Re: '66 Ludwig Club Date Bop Kit Value?

I'm trying to keep life simple. Although not a collector by any measure, I have too many drum sets (2) and way too many cymbals. Need to thin the herd before anything new is considered.

'66 Ludwig Club Date Bop Kit Value?

Hi folks,

A friend of mine has had this kit for decades and is thinking of selling. I'm hoping some of the Ludwig gurus on the forum can help assess value.

To my untrained eye, it looks pretty...

Re: This is the Display Your Rogers Drums Thread

At the end of the summer I subbed in with the Bayside Big Band for a gig in Victoria's Beacon Hill Park. I had 37 charts to learn while the rest of the band took the summer off, so I spent a lot of...

Re: What Kind of a Yamaha Snare is this

Here's a snip from the 1986 Yamaha Drum catalogue. I had a brass Yamaha snare from that era and it was an outstanding drum. In fact, I still play that drum on occasion as it now belongs to the...
