Big yes, Magnus -- these earlier Amati drums indeed are sustained in Prem style.

As for mine Trowa set It consists of BD 22", RT 13", FT 14 "and SD14". Such a similar set made a trip from Sweden...

Hi Magnus,

I have some pics from previous owner and now Amati kit placed in garage which not near my home.
Set includes BD 20", RT 12", FT 16", SD 14" and handmade RT 13" from Pearl Fiberglass...

Johnny, Magnus, you're right both.
It's my favorite gorgeous wrap called "M-Kristall Schwarz-Silber" which was used for Sonor/ Tromsa/ Trowa/ Lefima/ Tacton/ Amati.
I have a Trowa kit with this...

It's right solution.
I suppose that it will be good to add in mix some wood dust and 5% diisononilphtalate (you also can use dioctylphtalate or dimethylphtalate - it's cheap, but non-ecological).

Yes, that's right. It's maybe early Trixon or more likely Trowa -- both of them had the same shaped lugs (from Rimmel diecast workshop), near 1959 -62's.
It's one drum from pair bongos 6+8".

Roxy drums were made by german Tromsa factory.
Skins logo was RKB - also by Tromsa
Mounts, brackets and holders for Tromsa were made by Rimmel also as for other numerous german drum companies....

Nothing easier.
You have to take a strip of thin plywood (only 2 layer will be better), near 1x10" and gluing on it a strip of sanding paper.
It will be your best instrument.

In general, I am always against edge cutting.
A much softer path is the simple correction of edges using a flexible strip of thin plywood with glued sanding paper.

To me the main berry of Speedfire BD was in his two chambers with two pedals, allowing you to extract a unique sound.

This set principally the same as I early posted but includes some more things with the exception of FT 16" and origin BD-pedal.

So, it consist from:

BD 22' --> BD 20" --> FT 18x16"...

One of the Moscow drummers made a gift to the schoolchildren - he gave them a complete drum kit "EPOIMI", last version in the mint condition, indeed absolutely as new, 1984 release... :)
