Re: Maxtone Drums

Yes, that gold glitter looks nice!

The fact of the bassdrum and the snare having six lugs each puts the kit into the entry level range - which does not mean they cant sound really nice once you...

Re: Maxtone Drums

Hi!

According to the second pic Id guess its a 20-12-14-14 configuration, which would indeed be a jazzy outfit!

150,- incl. shipping might also be a fair price, as a hi-hat and a crash cymbal...

Re: Zildjian ZBT Cymbals

Hi Brian!

Im no expert on cymbals either. Just can give you some thoughts:

Re: Yamaha brass and tarnish removal

That was a nice price indeed! Great find, hope you enjoy it!

What surprised me with mine was how full this only 4" (or 3,5"?) deep shell sounds, what a nice tone it produces tuned to medium...

Re: Yamaha brass and tarnish removal

Hi!

Congrats, a very fine snare!

This might be a tough project, as it seems that the shell is covered with a thin clear lacquer coat, which youd have to remove first before you can clean the...

Re: Drop clutch

...now I get it...drop-clutch! DOH

Sorry. So my first post of course is of no help in this case. All I could find about drop-clutches is tightened the usual way - with a screw to the rod.

Hope...

Re: Just bought this 6 piece Recording Custom?

Hello!

+1 to Jays experience!
