Re: 1960's Ludwig Ball-bat Muffler Assembly - HELP!

I've seen them both ways. Most of them have the nut that holds then spring in place. Then the felt muffler/arm simply goes into place and is secured by another nut.

Re: Ludwig 1970s double tom mount question

I've replaced a couple of these with used ones and also one with a new Ludwig mount. The new mounts drop right in and work great.

Re: Joe Morello tribute kit

Yes. Seems like it was the early WFL badged model. Ludwig Transition badge at the latest i'd think.

I've got a few vintage units that have RCA jacks for the speakers. Have a couple that have both RCA and the other together.

Re: Can you please date this Ludwig & Ludwig drum?

That should be a heavy 2 piece shell. That's an earlier model with that particular strainer. The large bead is also a indicator. I've got that same drum in a 5x14 6 lug model. Sounds great. Late...

Re: Ludwig Standard Lugs Switcheroo

They do sound very nice. It's the same shell as the Acrolite and Supraphonic but without the bead. The hardware is lighter, so it probably allows the drum to resonate better. And yes, when I find...
