Re: Ordered "No Brand" hi-hats for $33?

Thanks everyone....yes, regardless of what they are $33 is hard to beat :) They are pretty trashy and have very quick response since they are smaller hats and so thin. Lingontega: I love my Wuhan...

Re: Ordered "No Brand" hi-hats for $33?

Got the hats yesterday...haven't got a chance to record/demo them but they sound great to me! I don't have any 13" hats, so that part is cool too. They have no markings or stamps on them and seem to...

That would be cool! They definitely match in color (B20) to my eye.

Ordered "No Brand" hi-hats for $33?

I'm sure everyone is used to these posts from me by now...I order cymbals that are listed "misc" or "no brand" in hopes of getting something that sounds decent :) Really, I only order them if I think...

Re: Mexican Made PDP Drums

I didn't really think about past the fact that they aren't vintage anyway. But this kit isn't made in overseas either. Made in Mexico (which is still technically America :) USA shells (DW)

Re: Mexican Made PDP Drums

No. The material is actually called "vinyl fabric". It does not have an adhesive back. It's very similar to the thickness of a typical drum wrap...just more pliable.

Re: Mexican Made PDP Drums

Thanks! Yes, they are great sounding drums! Doesn't hurt that they are North American hard rock maple shells :) You should definitely pick one of these kits up. You can find them all day long for...

Re: My Christmas Present

Awesome kit! I have multiple kits and most of my vintage ones are re-covered because the original wraps were messed up. Doesn't change the sound and they are still "vintage" drums either way. Enjoy...

Re: Mexican Made PDP Drums

Good idea guys on the floor tom legs! I don't really like that heavy of a drum on a tom arm mount. I'm strapped for cash right now, but since there aren't any extra holes in the drums (because it...

Mexican Made PDP Drums

First off, I know that PDP drums are far from vintage but I thought some of you might find some info I recently got to be interesting.
I have always kinda wanted a DW kit. I know they hold kind of...
