Drums are drums, one goes another one comes. But around 1978 I had this Ludwig kit, nothing special, no rare finish, but it was my first Ludwig. I don't even remember what happened to them.

Ya, the 12,13,16,22 combo sounds really good, but it's not the most comfortable for me. I'm digging the 12,16,22 right now, I'll use that configuration for awhile then go back to the 13.

Ya, it's also amazing how good those guitars sound with no amps and not even plugged in.
That's obviously a studio version and they are just going through the motions.

Damn you guys are a critical bunch. Snare buzz? That's what a snare does, it buzzes. Other than the kick drums being a bit too muffled, I thought all the drums sounded good.

He sounds like a rock drummer, so I'm sure that's why they were tuned lower and the 3ply shells with the rounded edges tend to favor the lower tunings. Not to mention most of the kits have bigger...

You're right, how did I miss that? Every kit sounded like a Ludwig because of that darn supraphonic.
Btw, I notice you have the finish for each of your kits too. Hmmmm
