I would try to clean up that she'll, you might be surprised how good it could look. I did that to a fibes set years ago and I couldn't believe how good they came out. I like to save original fimishes...

A few years ago the owners did try to upgrade the software, much like that on DFO. But the majority of the people here hated it, did not want to change it. So here we are, all happy right?

Didn't we just do this? I would share my projects but its too much of a hassle to load the photos plus I think people are bored with my restorations anymore.
But I still like to see what is going on...

What are your plans for the 16"? That 14 floor tom I have has Nickle hardware so It wouldn't have been a perfect match anyway.

If its paint then I would mask off the edge about 1/16 of where the profile of the edge starts to flatten out.
