A is the earliest model. The edge shape is different than later Recording Custom models.
And all YD 9000 & Recording Custom are 100% birch.

The sticks are probably SD2 bolero.
They're magical sticks. Any cymbals become SD2 sound.

No, Negi is famous for the Beech shell. Actually maple were started to used at some point. Now, they stopped using Beech due to supply problem. They also have been making school drums which are...
