P.S. - the drums came with vintage vinyl bags and seem to have been stored in them for many years. The wrap is in really nice condition. Do you see anything that isn't original?

Here's a photo of the original plastic lug (right) and the metal replacement I received via Ebay (left). The whole spacing is only slightly different -- maybe 1/16 inch.

Thanks to all of you for your responses. Something else to note: the lugs I've seen for sale on Ebay are all stamped 2212. My has no such markings.

The lug material reminds me of the old "chrome"...

These definitely seem like a plastic/composite. I ordered a Standard replacement lug, and it weighs many times what the original weighed - and it didn't fit.

I'm bummed, because this snare sounds...
