Original Blaemire snares for Sale

These are the last three drums of any kind that I have left in my collection. They may also be the hardest to see go.

The first up is actually a Blaemire prototype which has a Phenolic shell....

Repost of my thread about this seller...

First off I dont really need to warn anybody about buying from this seller because he is just so far off the mark with his pricing. But this fellow is not...

Re: blaemire snare

Just heard about this thread.
Those are vertical stress cracks from flexing shell without the hoops on. I had a shell like this early on in my experience with Blaemire shells and was actually able...

Re: Grommit install tool

There are a couple of details that will make the inside look much more like a factory grommet. Cut or grind the length of the grommet barrel so only about 1-2 mm of the barrel are visible inside the...

Re: Drum riser by Home Depot LOL

Nice riser! Simple yet efficient.
Maybe paint the buckets black or dark grey so they dont stand out so much.

Re: Black nickel over Chrome Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum?

I am not sure why you think this is anything but a Black Beauty? That looks very much like a few BB's that I have cleaned up for other drummers. They had areas that were worn away like yours. The...

They were an unbadged or labeled drum kit. Maybe a bass and tom. You took them down from above in the garage.

Re: Blaemire/slingerland

Even though I have seen some Blaemire shells with differing grid patterns in the sheet roving, I dont think this is a Blaemire shell.
I have seen this pattern before though. I believe I was at...

Re: blaemire snare

There were no beds cut when it was originally built.
The fellow who had this kit before me ordered all the Rogers hardware at once. Got the shells from Allen and then did an awesome job of drilling...

Re: Blaemire Tom from Vintage Drum Bug

I found this kit a few years back. It was wrapped in a pretty sad looking silver glitter. I stripped and restored it to this outstanding Blaemire/Rogers example. The hardware was like brand new.
I...

Re: Why does this Ludwig F. Tom look wrong to me?

Heres the question to ask....How close are the badge numbers? If they are all close...that could very well be a special order floor tom. Ludwig did pretty much anything you asked at the time. The...

It is a 6 piece kit as it sits today.
I am going to attempt to sell it together and if that is not what what makes the sale, I may sell the snare separately. I want...

Jenkins-Martin announces "Starry Night" Limited Edition.

I am sometimes not sure where to post these type threads since these are new drums, but have their origins from a vintage drum company (Blaemire).

Just posted this on our site as well as on our...
