Here`s the thing. It has to do with the note length. That half inch shortens the note or makes it a bit longer.

5 3/8 is over the 1/4 so it wont be the quarter model, it`s the half within the...

I think that one is too basic. Duplex and SONOR went the mile and fancy stuff.

I play drums and once in a while a cymbal or two.

If those are the spur mount holes I see, The center mount will put the mount and toms` weight on the spurs giving less shake than the forward one.

It`s gonna come back as Duplex or SONOR. Both used red Copper and screw adjustment tension snares. Because there is no triangle stamped into the shell I lean towards Duplex.

So far,

It could be an early Beverly. I found a 30`s Beverly with the same square bead, same lugs cut to fit, same T-rods,.. But lacks the throw and clips of the newer one shown here.

I don`t think it`s a marching drum. Looks like a Deep Rock Snare from the late 80`s.
