I agree with the rest, that drum will sound killer.
I have a 1977 5" version in decent shape and it was used daily.
I bought it new in 77'.
The one you show looks like the throw is bent but should...

Yes these Anniversary sparkles don't film well and show how nice they are.
I love that about W&A sets , they all seem to be unique and of course well built.

The shells are Jasper
Bass drum is 3-ply
The rest are 6-ply
20/13/16/14sn
Basically a Gretsch without the grey paint interiors.

W&A anniversary sparkle ...

2019 made it 50 years drumming for me.
What better way to celebrate than with a 58' W&A anniversary sparkle.
Anyone who has seen this wrap knows pictures just don’t do it justice.

Very nice set of snares.
My favorite Pearl for sure. I have a set of W&A (6.5 snare ,13 & 28) and the wrap is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. My kit looks more like the snares on the left...

OddBall, I used the Promark 747 Golden Oaks with wood tip. Loved them
then they stopped making them.
