Looking into buying a pair of 15" K. Zildjian hi-hats, made in Turkey. They are new stamps, so made from mid-60s to mid 70s I suppose. Look to be in excellent condition. No cracks, keyhole, etc.

Need to be the longer 23" classic legs with straight knurling.

Wrap Lifting on Ludwig WMP Floor Tom

I just acquired a 1969 Ludwig Downbeat kit in White Marine Pearl. The wrap on the floor tom is lifting slightly at the seam.
Interestingly, the wrap on the floor tom is not tucked into the outer ply...

There is a Gretsch Round Badge kit for sale locally that is listed as a 1960s kit with Keller shells.
I always figured that 60s Round Badge kits were all Jasper shells.

Mitch - Yes, the rail consolette seems to be pretty sturdy and functional on my Starlight stencil kit. I replaced the nuts of the tom holder with nice Gibraltar wingnuts which make adjusting the tom...

I thought this might be a slightly more economical way of having a cool, unique vintage kit. But I just totaled up what I would spend...
