Thanks. Some bites, and some bold lowballers, but not sold yet. I think the price is pretty good too. It's truly a great kit and i stand by it.

60/early 70's ludwig vs. Rogers sound

Which do you working musicians prefer and why? I love both, but i prefer a rogers kick drum with ludwig toms. Some ludwig kick drums are too pillowy/soft and rogers toms are too "perfect"...

Re: What snares would you bring to record?

Amazing drum. It started out a little muddy, but i had the edges worked on a few years back and now it's incredible. for such a deep drum, the crack is out of this world. Lot's of body..

Re: What snares would you bring to record?

When i do a recording session, i usually bring no more than 3 snares. 7x14 Radio king, 70's 6.5 Supra, and 5x14" 60's Ludwig COB. Throw in a tea towel and that covers all of my bases.

All great responses guys. Greatly appreciated! I feel a little discouraged though at the moment. However, it's worth the time and investment to have something that would be in the family for years....
