This repair won't add value to the kit, but, it won't detract value! All it does is fix a much needed repair so that a new hoop won't be required. I also just ordered a Pearl HPP-2...

Just finished gluing and clamping the bass drum hoop. Those custom-made brackets are great! I'll take the clamps off about 6:30pm tomorrow night, Friday. Cross your fingers! LoLoLoLo

I just did a test fit of those two custom-made brackets. I think they're going to work great!

I'll just need to separate some of the plies, get some glue down into them and then clamp the brackets...
