Re: Doug Clifford's CCR Camco kit.

Might not be same set in pictures above.
B/W picture has original Camco floor tom legs and color picture looks like Ludwig.
Just an observation.

Cool Mike,
I used to do construction and laminates can be tricky.
Nice job. I bought a back-line kit for a benefit concert and it had spandex for a covering.
Pretty good idea actually. it didn't...

Re: Ludwig black beauty 79 / 80 advice

I agree with the rest, that drum will sound killer.
I have a 1977 5" version in decent shape and it was used daily.
I bought it new in 77'.
The one you show looks like the throw is bent but should...

Re: W&A anniversary sparkle ...

leedybdp, nice Slingy.
Yes these Anniversary sparkles don't film well and show how nice they are.
I love that about W&A sets , they all seem to be unique and of course well built.

W&A anniversary sparkle ...

2019 made it 50 years drumming for me.
What better way to celebrate than with a 58' W&A anniversary sparkle.
Anyone who has seen this wrap knows pictures just don’t do it justice.

Re: Is Anyone Still Using This Forum?

I check in daily. even if it is just to see pictures of drums or talk / read about drums.
Keeps it real for me and what is left of my sanity.
Still learning something new everyday.

Re: *1929 SLINGERLAND 6.5 x 14 ROSE PEARL/ARTGOLD TONE FLANGE ARTIST MODEL

Very nice set of snares.
My favorite Pearl for sure. I have a set of W&A (6.5 snare ,13 & 28) and the wrap is beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice. My kit looks more like the snares on the left...

Re: Vintage sticks

OddBall, I used the Promark 747 Golden Oaks with wood tip. Loved them
then they stopped making them.
D.W.- those are very cool. Do you know what year those would be from?

Re: Stay At Home Drumming

Nice, I always like setting up the old kits that don't get used as much.
Air them out a bit. no better time I guess then now.

Is that a hammered brass piccolo snare hanging in cloud nine there?
Looks like it might be difficult to play.
