1960's Ludwig Paiste Standards B8 or Nickel Silver?

What year did Paiste start making the Ludwig Standard's in B8 instead of the Nickel Silver alloy like the ones in the 1950's to early 60's were?

I have a set of 14 inch Paiste Giant Beat hi hats from 1972 that I recently cleaned with Barkeepers Friend liquid paste formula. The hi hats were covered in Patina and had never been cleaned....

The patina is gone because I cleaned the cymbal. It had never been cleaned. Cosmetically it looked like total crap! Sorry for the confusion. Phil C.
