Re: Suggestions please...

Thanks guys. I re-tied the string on both ends so all square knots on the Acro, but I just think the strainer adjustment screw is sloppy and backing out. It's weird because it just did it at the...

Suggestions please...

Both my Ludwig snares loosen up after a few songs. I'm always turning the strainer adjustment screw while I'm playing. Any quick fix for this?

ID help please

This snare is on our local Craigslist. The lugs look to me like 70's Pearl stuff, can anyone ID this? Thanks,

Re: Fake vintage cymbals???

Here's an old Ajaha 22" ride I used to own. No stamp, just an ink sig under the bell that would be easy to remove. I can easily understand this being used to fake an old K.

Re: Ludwig lovers...

Re: Timeline for NewBeats?

Zen and MW, thanks for the great info! I didn't know any of that... and the hihats are definitely NewBeats. One is noticably heavier than the other. I have a 70's set of NewBeats that I love... but...

Timeline for NewBeats?

Hi, I picked up a pair of what I think are 60's Zildjian 14" hihats yesterday (stamp below). They're not that dirty and there are no ink stamps anywhere. Do these pre-date NewBeats? When did...

Re: Slingerland snare

Yes, it sounds similar to the acro. I think it's pretty cool, definitely gonna keep it. I feel kind of guilty though... I was going to buy a cymbal stand for $20. Then the guy asks if I want these...
