no problem ...and the other Elvin cymbal that I have is called an EAK Zildjian which means Early American K Zildjian...these were the first K Zildjians made in the USA in the early 1980,s

This 20" K also belonged to Elvin. It is a thin super- dry classic jazz sounding ride but the 19" Istanbul sounds much more like the cymbals I have heard him use the 3 or 4 times I saw him live and...

Alex good stuff thanks you may be right ... I should make clear there are no re-rings ...more like a an extra layered piece of shell that covered the seam joint ...its only on the 2 dark stained...

Oddball ...it says " Drums Only " address 2131 Kingsway ,Vancouver BC . This was a drum store run by Ray Ayotte where he began building his own drums in the basement

I don't believe you are correct about that my friend ...the floor tom and the 12 are beech with no reinforcements but the 13 and 22 are darker with reinforcements ...I think you jump to quickly to...
