Re: Premier 250(S) pedals

No, Sir: if you like to do sliding motions, this pedal's upper rubber plate will stop it.
The foot plate itself consists of two parts: the upper rubber plate, which is some kind of flexible/soft and...

Re: Premier 250(S) pedals

Hello Jay,

I'm afraid that I'm not the one to give you a tip in this matter:
- I love playing my IC with the Flexi-Glide,
- I never had a Speed King below my right foot and
- I play heel-down,...

Re: Premier 250(S) pedals

I used to have one to make my B303 outfit complete. It's light, easy playing, but if you're used to today's function of bass drum pedals, keep away from them.
Playing it makes only sense if you want...

Re: Another Premier question: date stamps/SN

The drum is from the 70's, as far as I know. So your indication can't be valid for Prem snare drums made earlier than 1980 or so ...? ...

Re: Any Ideas on this Snare Drum???

Hello,

This is most probably a 'Hoshino Professional' snare drum from the 70's.
That Hoshino (Kougyou) is totally different from Hoshino Gakki, which is Tama now.

Re: Star King Beat Wood Shell

Hello,

Star, indeed, made some of these KingBeat snare drums with wooden sheels like this. And ALSO some of their late Royal Star kits had such a shell construction, too.
On my web site there are...

Re: Wishing everyone love, safe and happiness

Hello,

all the best to all of you out there, too.

Conc. the Trixon kit: I'll NEVER understand how someone can play the 'rack toms' vice versa (like Billy Cobham and others).
Perhaps, because...

Re: mij supreme drums who made these?

Hello,

Sorry to contradict (after all these years ...): World's Supreme Quality was a slogan used by Star, only. Not Pearl.

The Supreme drum kit from the TS is not made by Star: brackets of the...

I could learn from REMO and RTOM, whom I both contacted in this...
