I agree with everything said I had a 20, 12, 16 Holiday kit with a powertone snare in red onyx that was my most favorite drums that I ever owned.

Your snare is either a 66-67 cleveland or dayton snare. I am no expert but I have owned a couple of rogers snares and sets. I don't know why Cheyenne is in there. Do your drum have a paper tag in it?...

HI Jonahboo Welcome to the forum. Could you please post your serial # you can do it like "10xxx" if you want but it will help dating your drum.

That's the original Cabria line I bought them when the first came out very good sounding drums. I used them on 3 live recordings before I sold them to my church and purchased my maple Catalina's.

You might want to try hi-bond acrylic double sided tape and some loctite spray adhesive to mount the dura-lar. I really like what you have done and I might try it myself.

Hi Kenwood glad I can help and the actual name is Oyster Pearl as just stated but many of us call it blue oyster pearl.

Blue Oyster Pearl which probably mean that your set was made by Star. If you look on my profile you will see my set of Stars. When they fade they turn green to grey. Look under the lugs to see the...

Forgot to mention that I use moongel on my toms, one on each. I have coated ambassadors on the reso side of toms so I have a nice round tone.

On my kit I didn't touch the interiors but I read from many who did and they are happy with the results for increased projection or for added strength to their shells. I happily use coated...
