Here's a very early DW snare drum with still lots of Camco hardware on it.

Serial number is 100164 or the 164th from the first year of production.

Early 80's I was told.

I've been building a data base since 18 months.

I contacted people via the forums, Ebay, Facebook groups, email, etc...

I collected info on 60 drum sets so far.

They're not a lot of unmolested Los Angeles Camco Drums out there.
That "gold" hardware is very rare.

I've been reading that originally, these were timbale shells and could be quite a handful to make them...
