Not a problem man.I was trying to help a friend and get the snare a good home as well. I'm not much of a vintage drum guy, but I figured someone here would know more about it.I hope you enjoy it my friend.

John, remember that Rogers Mardi Gras kit you sold me 3 years ago? I finally got the chance to adorn the BD hoops with matching wraps. The only **** up was trimming the diameter to fit in the channels.ONE hoop was wider than the other (which I cut to match the smaller diameter). As they say in Texas.."oil well." However I discovered that this kit was factory beavertailed with the outdated wrap which makes it quite rare. Thanks for resquing it to your best ability. Stan B

    Hey John,
Huge thank you for the heads up on Graffite remover. Picked up a 1952 Wayne Model 80 gas pump. That stuff got paint off nothing else would. Figure we are even for the tumbler tip :-) You think foot pedals would tumble in your unit?
    Thanks!

    John,
Did you ever get that second George Way kit up and running? I'd sure like to see pics if you got them. 3 or 4ply kit? Sizes?

PS, This messaging system is confusing. I read your message last night, went back to my 'private messages' and it wasn't there and was wondering if I was losing it! Then I clicked your name elsewhere and finally found this. Plus there's a 1000 character limit, hence this Post Script!

    John,

Thanks for your kind offer. Just so you know, this is a kit I just picked up that I will likely sell so I'm more than happy to compensate you so you can share in the excessive profits I'm sure to reap! LOL

Anyway, the total length is 2 3/4"; the rod minus the head is 2 1/4"; and the threaded section only is appr. 1 3/8".

This is an early 60s Super Classic kit in blue sparkle. There's a decent amount of rust on the kit but I think it'll clean up pretty well. Miraculously this was the only missing part aside from several washers (and a small screw on the mount); some bent T rods but I think I can get them squared away.

Have you ever tried throwing a Cape Cod cloth in your tumbler with nickel parts? I use the tumbler a lot for chrome parts and I know you need to be careful with nickel as you can actually wear through the nickel finish. Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

    Thanks again,
