I have been drumming for about 5 years now and have taken numerous lessons from some different people. One of my pervious teachers, Jerry Fields, sold me a Ludwig drumset. He called it an "oversized" set. He wasn't kidding, it's built for Yao Ming. I want to sell it because it's sometimes difficult to set up and it's big and clunky. The one thing about this set that peaks a lot of peoples interest is that it has a 20 inch floor tom. I was beginning to assume that it may have been used for styles such as big band but I really can't figure it out. The diameters for the different drums are as followed: 14" rack tom, 15" rack tom, 20" floor tom, 24" bass drum.

Check out my Ludwig kit in this thread => http://www.vintagesnaredrums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=264

A 20" floor tom isn't that uncommon... :)

It'd be cool if you could help me ID it and find out what its worth.

Check your serial numbers on this page to see which year it was made. => http://www.ludwigdrummer.com/Date%20Guide/Date%20Guide.html

I can't tell you what it's worth as I'm in sweden.

If you ever come across a 16"x16" floor tom or 16"x12" tom and a 13"x9" tom in Mahogany cortex and B/O badges then I'll buy 'em from you straight away... D' Drummer
