Something we don't post too much of here....one of the old kits being used...this is my 12 year old playing yesterday on a 1970 Ludwig kit and a 67 Supraphonic.

Beautiful set! I have a Downbeat set with Keystone Badges from 68 in Blue Sparkle... One of the best sounding kit's I've ever owned.

Any clips from your son's performance?

Great looking kit only "topped" by the hat that your son is sporting.Bowing
Is that a "vintage piece" also?

Hey everyone thanks for the kind words. We have a lot of fun with the drums, good father son time, he is the true player though, God gave him the gift.

That is an Airline, it sounds great especially with the slide, I was with Chris when he found it at a pawn shop and snagged it for $300 a few months back.

This is Ben's Myspace http://www.myspace.com/porkpieblues it has some videos of him playing they are getting pretty old and need to be updated.

Cya,

Mike

PS: Jaye my good friend, there are a ton of lakes in north Texas...almost too many.

Tell Benny P I dig his shuffle work on his myspace page.
Every young player should be able to do this kind of thing and your boy is slathering it on! Very cool, fella's.
