Pearl 70s snare? Can anyone help identify??

Hi, I am interested in identifying the year of this snare as it is currently missing the external damper knob. I have the damper mechanism and would like to repair it with one from a similar vintage if at all possible as the snare is in otherwise as new condition. It is a 14x6" 6 lug Pearl Snare Made In Japan. I have included a montage below showing the badge, finish and all hardware. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

The drum was made for a variety of years and in one catalog called the "Popular" model . The badge looks like 72 or 73. The tone arm knob is the same in style as the strainer knob.

They look identical in that regard.


There is a chance I have one laying around and I will look for you.

Thanks David, it would be greatly appreciated. I am only missing the knob and the long bolt I have the small nut and bolt and also have the cyllindrical nut which locks in with the tone arm.
