For sale:

Ludwig "Carioca" replica kit. Its not an actual matched set, but its as close as you'll find to the kit pictured in the 1971 Ludwig catalog. Bass drum and floor tom are finished in Black panther, 3-ply maple/poplar/maple with re-rings, clear maple interior. Bass dates to 1969, floor tom to 1971. Timbales are from 1980, I believe. Sizes are :
14x22
16x16
14x7
13x7
No snare is included. Spurs, legs and tom mount is included though.

Looking to get $625.00 for the set. Shipping extra. Local pickup preferred. Note that this kit is also listed locally on craigslist: http://nh.craigslist.org/msg/1409875582.html

PM me if interested.

Well....I haven't heard much about the pending trade, so I am assuming that deal is dead. In which case since I haven't heard anything from the craigslist ad I posted or from any interested parties on here I think I'll keep this around for a while.....might make a real interesting double bass kit with my Ludwig Hollywood kit also in black panther finish....

Hey L.D.

The deal isn't dead on my end. If you are having second thoughts on the trade let me know.

Well after two weeks of rehearsals with these guys that said they were a good Pink Floyd tribute band, which is the other reason why the trade deal went dead as I needed the bass and floor tom to make a true 70's Nick Mason kit for these wankers, I've come to the conclusion that these guys were all about the Pink Floyd "experience", if you know what I mean....420, etc.....well thats not my scene. To me Pink Floyd is all about music not getting high, so I told them to stuff it. So my apologies to Joe for letting the trade deal go sour over what turned out to be a bunch of non-serious druggie wankers.

With that said, this kit is still for sale and I'd like to get $625.00 for it plus shipping. Also, to let everyone know, it is on the local craigslist too.

Hey LD,
I still have the set if your interested, and no need to apologise. Let me know if you are interested in the Gretsch set.
