I am a primary school teacher in Australia and a drummer and I found this kit spread over six rooms of the school collecting dust. The previous music teacher didn’t even know it existed.
Wondering if it is worth the effort fixing this...
I assume it is a really entry level crappy kit but an insight you could throw my way would be huge...

Hello, By the badge on the drum you posted your set is from 1968 to 1971.If you have the hole matching set YES i would restore the set.Yamaha drums are hard to get from those years and having a complete match kit and the color its in is a rare fine..mikey

Are there serial numbers on the badge?

Please post a pic of the interior of the shell(s). also.
Very cool wrap! I'd restore it. Maybe you could use the restoration as an extra credit project for some of your students (I teach also).

I took it to a local shop and the guy thought they were maple?
The badges are just yamaha... No numbers...
There was a stamp on the inside of the snare that says c0506... or C 5060... Not with me at the moment...
