i have just been given an arbiter autotune, its in very good condition and comes with its own snare stand. does anyone have any info about these, and maybe a price for insurance purposes.
cheers

Indeed. But, pictures will be necessary for valuation. Those drums depend greatly on condition and completeness.
Check this British site out for history and information:

ok, here are some pics.
the drum is in really good condition, minor paint rubbing and very minor chrome pitting. all it really needs is a clean and heads.

$300.00-$500.00 U.S. if you're looking to list it on EBay. $100.00 if you'll sell it to me! Eye Ball That one is really nice! -to a collector, mind you. You should email the guy from that website link and he will include your drum pics on the Arbiter tribute site. Thanks for posting the pictures. very nice drum.

There is a British drum discussion forum where some of the people who used to work for Arbiter now reside and post on occasion. I will link you to an Arbiter-based thread and you can try PM'ing a member on there named "robo1968". Someone on that thread should be able to at least advise you where to look. Keep in mind, missing parts are the bane of these drums.
here is the link:

Other than that, you could also try contacting the guy who has the Arbiter tribute website and maybe he might know where to look.

These have great collectability to certain people. I had a beat up old floor tom - missing a leg, rusty cogs, scratched - heavy too. There was this guy in Italy though, who bought it when I listed it, and paid quite a bit with the postage added too. There is a demand, but it's put luck if you get the right attention. Nice drum though - don't blame you for keeping hold!

I'd love it!
...meh....nevermind. I can't get any more drums until after this kitchen remodel is done.
Nice drum, though!
Good luck

Is this offer still standing? I'm looking for a 12" hoop for my rack tom!

This discussion cracked me up.
Oh, what a lovely drum. How much is it worth? I love it and would never sell it.
Two months later:
Don't have room for it. Need some cash.
How much freekin' room does a snare take up? Cash, I understand.
Unreal.

Hello all,
I too have found a very dusty version of the same snare in my attick. Unfortunlty its seen better days. Its missing the stand and most of the tightning bolts. Does anyone have a rough estimate of what it could be worth, as its taking up far too much sapce...
Thanks.

Missing parts for these are almost impossible to find so completeness IS an issue. As far as value....we need to see detailed pictures first. Thanks and welcome to the forum.
