Help with Vintage Pearl Drums

I'm about to buy a Pearl "Modern Jazz" series drum-set for fairly cheap and I was wondering if anyone knew any history about this model. I would love any information including years of production, wood types, value as vintage and location of manufacturing. Thank you so much!!!

I did go through those pages, thanks for the link. I never found a kit that said "Modern Jazz" series though. I found Combo Jazz and Jazz Rock, but the actual kit I'm buying says "Modern Jazz". I actually don't have a picture from the seller and I've only scene the kit once so it's kinda drivin me nuts!! Thanks for the help.
