I would like any information and an approximate value of this drum.

The material is wood and the finish is white marine pearl. The drum badge is the square blue and red Ajax Boosey and Hawkes London one. The dimensions are 4 x 14 and the interior is plain wood. It has 16 bullet lugs and an Ajax strainer. It has a serial number of 51644.

Hi Stevie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I very much doubt that you are around after nearly three years !, but I've bumped this question up to tie in with my request for info on a suitable snare head.
This drum is a 14" x 3" (not 4" as you state) and is called Snapper. Ajax were a well respected British manufacturer of drums in the past, notably 50's 60's and also produced the Edgeware series which seems to feature in questions on this forum.
As you can see there is VERY little room for maneouvre between head and lugs.
The 5" version was called Piper, and 4" Pipperette, I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong. There is a web site which I'm sure somebody more computer literate than I can link to this.
As for value, I'm not telling... but I'm not selling... I'm playing...
