Rogers Butcher Block Ply question - web site visitor

I have an old Rogers drums with butcher block finish
I think that my drums is from 1972. year.
So the question is from what kind of wood they made of and how many plyes they made of (how many ply's toms made of and how many ply's bass drum made of)

Any information will be helpful. Thanks

Well, without pictures it is hard to determine exactly what you have. I think most Rogers drums in the time period are 3-ply and you should be able to take the head off and count them.

A better description of the interior and the reinforcing rings would help.

Send a pciture if you can

This is all speculation without seeing the drums.
