Yep, same guy. I heard he played with Sammy within the past couple of years live too. He's a solid drummer throughout..and Bill Church the bass player played with Sammy when he was a solo artist too. Bill left Montrose after the first album and was replaced by Alan Fitzgerald, also known as the keyboard player for Night Ranger. Very small world in the music business.......LOL
