Here's what I can tell you about this 1950's Leedy Drum Kit:
Black Diamond Pearl (Slight Fading), 3-ply shells w/ re-inforcement rings
14 x 20" / 9 x 13" / 16 x 16" & matching 5.5 x 14" wood snare - "Shelly Manne" model (8 lugs, original 3 point throw-off with gate extension & original snare wires)
Date Stamped: Apr 17, 1958 in Kick Drum ONLY
Leedy Brass Oval Badge on the kick, snare & tom (Mahogany Interior)
Leedy Blue Oval Badge w/ Postal Code number 48 after Chicago on the floor tom (Beige Interior)
P-020 stamp in all the drums
Drums have the period correct mufflers, lugs, COB Stick Saver hoops, kick drum spur mounts, tees & claws, tension rods, floor tom legs,
diamond spade tom mount & shell mount cymbal holder
Kick drum spurs are vintage repros from JP2 Creations & wing screws for the kick drum spur mounts are after-market (not pictured)
Floor tom leg mounting brackets are Ludwig, plus 2 additional Ludwig mounts on the kick drum
High tom has original Leedy batter skin & floor tom has original Leedy batter & resonant skins
Bearing Edges in VG condition
Problems:
Extra mounting holes on the kick drum for rail consolette & Rogers Swiv-o-Matic mounting plate, & for an additional cymbal mount holder (finished w/ carriage bolts & Ludwig mounts)
Extra hole in each floor tom mount position for Ludwig mounts (original Leedy mount bottom holes are exposed)
Missing the inlay on both kick drum hoops & 2 tension rods on the floor tom
