Don Knaack

Does anyone know who Don Knaack is? I recently found my first ever pair of drum sticks , which I got in 1989. The only marking on them is the words: DON KNAACK model. If anyone has any info on these sticks please let me know. Thanks!

I could not find anything either about that name. A basic search on Yahoo gave me a few Don Knaack's.

Who knows, do you remember buying them at a retail store?
