Here is a Dixie catalog. (http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/japanese_drums/catalog_dixie.html)

That is in the Japanese Drum Section (http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/japanese_drums/index.html) of the web site.

Hey, Rufus...you made it over here from VintageDrumMuseum, eh ? ;)

My Whitehalls have the same single-post-to-double-post rack tom apparatus...after a while I had to just take off my 13, it was just too wobbly a piece of hardware.

That has the Tempro-style lugs...and the nice Japanese version of the swivomatic tom arm (actually, a superior piece of hardware to the original Rogers version)....nice kit, looks like it's immaculate....

Hi fellows, thanks for the compliment, not only does this kit look like it was made yesterday without a scratch on it and a nice red satin wrap, with the newer heads and tuning i cannot believe the sound this kit produces, ive had every american name brand kit and myself and people who have played this dixie kit really dont know how this kit can possibly sound so good.. and honestly it really does sound good. it did come with the original stands and pedal which was garbage and tossed away. not much to say for the stands etc.but drums themselves we have no complaints.

Agreed on the sound. I remember my Dixie kit sounding surprisingly good for a low dollar kit. But then again they were not dirt cheap either. I paid around $400 for the 5 pc kit circa 1970

My Dixie kit came with only a snare, mounted tom, and bass drum, it was silver sparkle. I got it new for Christmas. I remember wishing I had a hi-hat. I bought it from Drummers Paradise in Kenmore NY. It was a retail location in the front of the Kent drum factory. I eventually traded this kit for a Kent.
